In yet another episode
of “Crys watches the grimmest shows ever,” I’ve started the BBC series “Survivors.”
It’s terrifying, and a bit nice. It has a stable cast that includes important, reoccurring POC and now a queer presence — but really, damn. Sometimes it just hurts to watch this show as well — not to reveal too much, but reactions to schizophrenia and homophobia in one episode have got me reeling a bit.
Woof. Remember way back in college when all I could manage was cartoons on repeat? Geez.
